I love Simon's cat. Google to see more.

So sad but true...*sigh*

We are moving wayyy too fast toward A Wrinkle in Time, people. Slow down!!

Just one reason why I am not a Twi-fan.

In contrast to the above...is this poster AWESOME or WHAT?!?! I cannot wait!!

Have a great weekend!!

I loved Simon's cat. My children, who are 3 and 1, cause me similar headaches when I'm writing, so I appreciated it. I definitely need to watch more.

These all cracked me up this morning - the Twilight one especially (even though I do admittedly like Twilight)!

Loved the Europe one. That's one thing I don't want my kids to be ignorant about. (Okay, there are many, but this is a practical one.)

Reading maps. Knowing where major cities of the world are. Identifying other countries--I think that's important.

I can't forget about how a few years ago, I was talking to this woman. I asked her if she lived south of the interstate. She said, where's that?

I was stunned. And I had to hide it. We live in a metro area of under 200,000. The interstate I referred to runs right through. (There are only 2 interstates going through town. One north/south. One east/west.)

There is no way you'd live in our town and not ever go on the interstate.

She'd moved here less than a year before, and this interstate runs directly between her former town and the current one. How could she not know where the interstate was?

I didn't get it.

I know not all people are good with directions, but as I said, that just shocked me.

Sorry for the long story. Just made me think of it.

I can't wait to see The Hobbit! And that poster series that ended with Bella saying, "I got married." Too funny :)

OK, I feel like a dork asking this, but who is the woman under Hermione who led an army?
